CDR ANNOUNCES ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING:
The Continental Divide Region of the SCCA will be holding their Annual Membership Meeting at 7:00PM on Tuesday, 29 October. The meeting will be held at the Village Inn at 1430 Harrison Rd., Colorado Springs, CO (I-25 & South Circle Drive).
The agenda will include reports from our program directors, recapping the year’s activities and announcing next year’s planned events. We’ll also hear from our Treasurer regarding the region’s financial performance for the year-to-date.
We will be electing two new members to the Board of Directors. Since there are two vacancies coming open and just two nominees, a “regular election” was not necessary. The Secretary will appoint one member to cast one vote for each of the candidates, thereby deciding the “winners” of the uncontested election. Come meet the two new board members and discuss with them (and the other board members) the direction you’d like the region to go in.
We’ll also be conducting an “open forum” session to get region member’s general feedback, comments and suggestions.
This meeting is open to all active members of the Continental Divide Region. Please bring your membership card so that we can verify your status.
